Partner and counsel who has practiced intellectual property law for over ten years. He provides services to entities operating mainly in the fields of film, media, books, advertising, entertainment, new media and technologies. He handles disputes in IP, unfair competition, trade secrets, and reputation matters – in civil, commercial and criminal cases. He is a lecturer on intellectual property law, media, personal rights and advertising. He also cooperates with leading film industry organisations. Krzysztof is an arbitrator at Arbitrational Tribunal for the Audio-visual Market in Poland. He is a former Arbiter at Copyright Commission, and Deputy Chairman at the Supervisory Board of Polish Radio.
Managing director of the Polish Audio-visual Producers Chamber of Commerce (KIPA). She has worked in the audio-visual industry since 2007. In 2011-2013, she was the representative of the Polish Minister of Culture in the Committee of the MEDIA Programme of the European Union in Brussels, and in 2011-2015, the Secretary of the Court of Arbitration of the Audio-visual Market in Warsaw. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Radio and Television at the University of Silesia and a doctoral student at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw. Member of prestigious Council for Digitalization, which supports the activities and legal initiatives of the Ministry of Digital Affairs.
Solicitor, specialising in intellectual property law, especially in copyright and industrial property law. For almost 10 years she has counselled entrepreneurs, individual artists and start-ups on, among others, the transfer, management and protection of intellectual property rights. He was also employed in BCG’s Venture Capital subsidiary in Berlin (BCG Digital Ventures) where he searched for concepts for the most innovative start-ups and developed the most likely-looking enterprises. Before he joined BCG, he facilitated the introduction of Spotify into Polish market as Business Development Executive. He is passionate about film industry. He graduated from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and continues his studies at Harvard Business School (Master of Business Administration 2019).
Film producer, cofounder of Koi Studio Production Company. A board member of the KIPA. Her debut “Little Crushes” premiered in 2014 at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and has been recognised during many more national and international festivals. Currently, she is working on new projects, including Ireneusz Grzyb’s “Stances And Statues”, awarded in the Script Pro competition, Matej Borik’s documentary film “The Art of Understanding”, as well as on co-productions with Germany and Israel. In 2015, she was awarded as the best debuting producer by KIPA and Polish Film Institute.
He graduated from the Faculty of Film and TV Production at Polish National Film School in Łódź, and from the Faculty of Informatics at Łódź University of Technology. He gained professional experience as production manager of fiction and documentary films, and then as producer, mainly for animated films. He cofounded and remains a board member of the Polish Animation Producers Association (SPPA), as well as a board member of the Polish Audio-visual Producers Chamber of Commerce (KIPA). He is one of the producers for WJTeam/Likaon, a production company that focuses on animated films.

For over 15 years, she has worked in professional audio-visual production press. As a journalist she cooperated with: Kino Polska television channel, Radio Opole, Radio Plus, TVP3 Katowice, Polskie Radio Program II, “Kino” magazine, as well as with German periodicals “Film & Kameramann” and “Cinearte”.
For 8 years she has been publishing and editing “FilmPRO” – the biggest Polish magazine about preproduction, production, and postproduction of professional audio-visual materials. “FilmPRO” is a periodical and an institution; it organises workshops and seminars devoted to film production’s legal aspects, technologies and financing. “FilmPRO” is the official magazine for Polish Society of Cinematographers (the PSC). Together with PSC, FilmPRO organises workshops and seminars on the technology and the art of cinematography. Irena Gruca-Rozbicka also supports educational initiatives such as New Horizons of Film Education aimed at young and school children all around Poland. She co-authored the screenplay for “Invisibles”, a film developed within the Polish-Norwegian project “Film For Kids.PRO”.

He acted as manager, director for business and research, and board member in many entities, including in media companies, Internet businesses and in an investment fund operating on the seed/startup market (Wirtualna Polska, Business Angels Seedfund, Agora, Agora Ukraina, GoldenLine, Polskie Badania Internetu, and many more). He also advises young entrepreneurs and new companies how to validate their business models, create value and find investors, as well as how to manage their investments comprehensively.

Head of Creative Europe Desk Poland and of the European Union’s Programs’ Department in Adam Mickiewicz Institute. Appointed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage the expert in the Ministry’s Film Programme. She graduated from the Faculty of Finance at Warsaw University of Economics. She has gained her experience cooperating in production and postproduction of films by, i.a., Central Productions, Orka and OTO Film Studio. In 2000, she became the head of production in The Chimney Pot Studio that specialised at that time in Digital Intermediate technology for film and TV production. In 2006, she took up the position of Coordinator in MEDIA Desk Polska, where she was responsible for cooperation with producers, distributors, festival organisers and film schools that applied for funding from the MEDIA Programme. She organised many workshops and conferences with the participation of Polish and foreign experts. In 2013, she decided to make use of her experience and her knowledge of the MEDIA Programme, as well as of the audio-visual sector. She took up the management of Creative Europe Desk Polska, the agency of the EU’s Creative Europe Programme that offers funding to cultural, creative and audio-visual sectors.

Lawyer, tax advisor, graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (MA). He has finished doctoral studies at the same university in the Institute of Intellectual Property Rights at the Faculty of Administration and Social Communication. Experienced member and manager of a team that provided tax services for national and foreign business entities in an international law firm. He specialises in matters pertaining to Value Added Tax and Corporate Income Tax, as well as tax proceedings. He teaches about Value Added Tax and Corporate Income Tax, including transfer pricing. He published papers on tax law and intellectual property rights.
Manager of the Mazovian Film Fund and Mazovia Warsaw Film Commission. She gained her experience in Interdeco Hachette, Warner Home Video and City Promotion Office, among others. She graduated from Warsaw School of Economics and Koźminski University.
Affiliated to Łódź Film Commission since its establishment in 2009. It was the first Polish Film Commission within an international network. Głowacka was responsible for the Commission’s creation within the structures of the Łódź magistrate. Since 2009, she has represented Łódź Film Commission before the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI), and since 2014 before Section of Regional Funds of the Polish Audio-visual Producers’ Chamber of Commerce. She is very experienced in cooperating with film crews and in organising big cultural events in Łódź and internationally. She is successful in raising funds for the Commission’s operations.
Producer and screenwriter. Graduate of the National Theatre School (PWST) in Warsaw. Owner of the Zoyda Art Production film production company (founded in 1999). Board member of Polish Filmmakers Association (SFP). She has produced documentaries, which have won awards at international film festivals, e.g. “The Runaway” (2007) and “The Touch of an Angel” (2015).
She studied Applied Linguistics at the University of Warsaw. In 2006 she got her PhD in Psychology at the University of Warsaw and Université Paris-V. She has worked in the film industry since 1996. Since 2005, she has managed the Staron-Film company, which co-produced the following pictures: “El Premio” by Paula Markovitch (2011), “Refugiado” by Diego Lerman (2014), “Ausma” by Laila Pakalnina (2015), and “A Sort Of Family” by Diego Lerman (2017). Moreover, she produced a number of documentaries: “Six weeks” by Marcin Krawczyk (2009) (IDFA Grand Prix), “Tak” by Dariusz Gajewski (2006), “Argentyńska lekcja” by Wojciech Staroń (2011, awarded among others during: Krakow Film Festival – Grand Prix, Leipzig IFF – Grand Prix), “Brothers” by W. Staroń (2015, Locarno Semaine de la Critique – Grand Prix), and “Last Season” by Sławomir Witek. Małgorzata Staroń acts as the Producer and Board President. In 2012, she took part in the prestigious EAVE European Producers Workshop, with the project “Brothers”. All of the films produced by Staron-Film premiered during A-class international film festivals and were repeatedly awarded. Małgorzata Staroń is a member of European Film Academy. Among the feature and documentary films, which she produced, one finds some depicting the world as seen by children.
Manager of the Producers’ Service Department of Polish Filmmakers Association – The Union of Audiovisual Authors and Producers. He finished post-graduate studies in intellectual property law in the Jagiellonian University. He gained 15 years of professional experience in managing the collective copyright and related rights of audio-visual producers.
Legal adviser and tax adviser. Director of Tax and Administrative Law Department in Law Firm Sadkowski and Partners. She specialises in administrative law and tax law. She led many advisory projects and provided day-to-day advice to major Polish corporations and multinational companies from the automotive, property, construction, food processing, and fuel sectors. She succeeded in implementing recruitment optimisation models, also in the area of key talent recruitment; she oversaw multiple audits and tax reviews. She delivered end-to-end legal support for a number of restructuring, and corporate and holding transformations projects. She wrote several press articles on current tax affairs, published above all in “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” daily newspaper, “Portal Finansowo-Księgowy” and in “My Company Polska” monthly. Over the years, she conducted training programmes, mainly in restructuring, effective models of transformation of enterprises, and tax. Gudrun Burie started her career working in-house with independent distributors. Since 2002, she has worked as a unit publicist, production assistant and marketing and PR consultant for several production companies. In Belgium, she specialises in feature film and TV publicity for a number of production companies and TV channels. For the last 5 years, she has been a regular EAVE – consultant at the EAVE Film Marketing Seminars. Recently, she worked on the promotion and publicity of Le Fidèle by Michaël R. Roskam, The Prime Minister by Erik Van Looy, but also meaningful arthouse releases like Le passé devant nous by Nathalie Teirlinck. She also represents the happy few of Belgian talents as an international talent manager. Among them are Veerle Baetens, Kevin Janssens and Koen De Graeve.
Fraser began his career at London-based trailer house The Picture Production Company in 1995, rapidly becoming one of the most successful and respected trailer editors in the field, winning a Golden Trailer Award for his international trailer for Billy Elliot. More recently, he has extended his career by becoming a highly regarded trailer producer, specialising particularly in the independent sector. He has overseen successful and creatively original campaigns for a wide range of acclaimed films, including Slumdog Millionaire, Hunger, Searching For Sugar Man and Submarine. In the Autumn of 2010 Fraser set up his own company, TOKYO, in partnership with Simon Ubsdell, the co-founder and Creative Director of PPC. This new venture sees them continuing their long-term creative collaboration to meet the challenges of a new era of film marketing, where the worldwide scrutiny of audio visual materials demands a very high level of creative and technical expertise combined with a deep understanding of the international market. With a particular focus on being able to advise the independent sector, TOKYO offers a range of options from basic consultancy through in-depth strategy and concept to full creative and production services. It is his level of experience and insight that has led Fraser to become a regular speaker at film marketing training events across Europe, presenting trailer-making workshops at The Berlinale Talent Campus, The Media Business School, The Film Distributors Association and appearing as an expert for EAVE, Skillset and The Dutch Film Fund.
